Basic Rules of Separation and Divorce
Don’t go through this period alone.
Develop an extensive support network.
Become educated about divorce through support groups, therapy and books.
Talk to friends and family about the positives and negatives of divorce, so that you do not burden your friendships by always being negative.
Be open to what works and what doesn’t as you develop your new lifestyle.
